Wayne Everett
Wayne Everett is a songwriter, musician, and producer from California. He first gained recognition as the drummer of alternative rock band The Prayer Chain, with whom he performed, among other shows, at Flevo Festival in the Netherlands in 2003.
After The Prayer Chain disbanded, Wayne co-founded the indie pop band The Lassie Foundation with Eric Campuzano. The band released several acclaimed albums, toured with artists such as The Walkmen, The New Pornographers, and At The Drive-In, and had their music featured in TV productions including Buffy the Vampire Slayer and MTV’s The Real World.
Alongside his work with various bands, Wayne has released solo albums including KingsQueens and Two Ghosts, both produced by Frank Lenz. His music combines personal storytelling, thoughtful lyrics, and melodic indie rock with influences from pop, folk, and alternative music.
Wayne was also a member of Starflyer 59 for three years, contributing drums and vocals to several of the band’s most notable releases.
