CheckerPoint
CheckerPoint
CheckerPoint
Right at the entrance of the festival grounds there’s a hut which is staffed day and night…the famed CheckerPoint. If you have questions or any sort of problem you can turn to these guys. For any difficult issues please go here first! Here the home-base of anything to do with Freakstock office and organisation is located as well. You’ll also find a bulletin board with all sorts of news and announcements on changes of the programme, share-a-ride offers, lost&found and other stuff.

Infopoint, JFD, JF Magazine
This is the central point-of-contact for asking all possible (and perhaps impossible) questions about Freakstock and about Jesus Freaks in general. Every visitor can get necessary information here about the Freakstock programme, e.g. new workshop locations, or about work-group and pool meetings. Any question that is of concern for participants of the festival can be addressed here.
First Aid
First Aid
First Aid
First Aid is located right next to the main entrance. First Aid is NOT a place to get band-aids or painkillers (no kidding!). The paramedics are there for emergencies only – please do not treat them as if they were your local GP.

The grass area next to the runway provides plenty of space for camping. Do consider though, that there is only one spot for water. If you want to avoid long hikes for showers and brushing your teeth, chose your camping spot accordingly.

Children's World
As every year you may entrust your kids to KinderWelt. We’ll do our very best to spoil your youngsters by teaching them new ways to have fun. KinderWelt will be open from 10am to 6pm (Sunday 10am – 2pm) but we ask you to stop by throughout the day to check in on your little ones (depending on age and temperament). We take care of kids starting at the age of three; however, for kids any younger than that we may be able to make special arrangements. We’ll have a killer programme for the older children this year!

Parking
Freakstock visitors may only park in the Freakstock parking lot – the old airport runway. If you park anywhere else, chances are you will be towed. Please leave your car in the parking lot during the festival and refrain from driving off the grounds if at all possible. Everything you need will be available on site. Vehicles parked on the street will be towed without prior notice, since the street needs to stay open for emergency vehicles. There is absolutely no stopping on the street! Our parking volunteers are there to help prevent chaotic conditions in the parking lot but they are not responsible for protecting your vehicle against theft. Driving upon festival grounds is prohibited!
Bathrooms & Showers
Bathrooms & Showers
Bathrooms & Showers
Unfortunately we do not have running water on the festivals grounds, but it`s actually not as tragic as it sounds. We have outhouse-style toilets all over the premises. In the camping area, there are wash basins which will be supplied with sufficient fresh water from tank trucks every day. Here you can wash your yourself, your dishes and brush your teeth. We also have shower stalls with refillable water canisters and pulleys – this works surprisingly well. For a more convenient bathing and shower experience, we recommend the public swimming pool in Allstedt (about 10 minutes away).
